Our Purpose
Elev8 Arts is a creative hub born from love for the arts and a deep need in our community.
Founded in the heart of Colorado Springs’ Knob Hill neighborhood, we believe that art is more than just self-expression — it’s a foundation for a happier, more open way of thinking.
As schools cut art programs and opportunities disappear, Elev8 Arts steps in to unite generations through creativity. Our space brings together artists, elders, and children to create, teach, learn, and grow. It’s a place where talent is nurtured, purpose is reignited, and joy is shared — no matter your age or background.
Why We Exist

For the Kids: In a neighborhood often overlooked, we provide free and affordable art classes led by real working artists and community elders. Here, kids learn confidence, self-worth, and the joy of creating something of their own.

For the Elders: Many older adults still have so much to give. We offer them a space to teach their crafts, find purpose again, and be respected mentors to the next generation.

For the Artists: We support working artists with consignment opportunities, studio space, and chances to earn income by teaching classes — all while giving back to the community.
